YOUR ROLE

Catalisto’s development team design and deliver a broad range of technical programs that enhance the cybersecurity capabilities of individuals, organizations, and industries.  Programs range from technical training, mentoring and research programs, to market and solution research, evaluation and systems integration programs.  Our focus is to provide technology leaders, including CIOs, CTOs, CISO, and CDOs, with insights to help them secure their most critical infrastructure and assets.

The Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the successful execution of technical projects within Albania and beyond.  You will be responsible for orchestrating all aspects ofour projects to achieve their goals within the defined scope, time and budget constraints, while maintaining effective communication and collaboration among all involved parties.  You must have a solid understanding of IT networks, as internal engineers and external clients will expect you to be able to identify and plan around technical project risks.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define project scope, objectives and deliverables in collaboration with organizational, governmental and client stakeholders

  • Develop detailed project plans including timelines, milestones and resource allocation, and manage resource utilization to budget

  • Identify and manage projects risks, creating contingency plans as needed

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, ranging from critical infrastructure operators, government entities, associations, commercial partners and others to internal cybersecurity and IT engineers, finance and management.

  • Provide regular project updates, status reports and progress presentations to stakeholders

  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, resolving conflicts when necessary

  • Understand the technical aspects of the project, including technologies, tools and methodologies, and provide technical guidance and support to team members, helping to troubleshoot issues and make informed decisions

  • Ensure all project deliverables meet a high professional standard, and implement corrective actions when deviations from quality standards occur

  • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness, making adjustments when necessary to ensure budgets are not exceeded.

  • Handle changes in project scope, requirements or objectives by assessing their impact, communicating and ensuring buy-in to the changes, and managing necessary adjustments.

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, meeting minutes and relevant communications

  • Generate regular project status reports and performance metrics

  • Ensure proper project closure by delivering final products, documentation and reports to stakeholders.

  • Conduct post-project evaluation to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all regional stakeholders, working with them to diligently close out open issues in a proactive and collaborative manner

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or similar field or equivalent practical experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a technical consulting or a systems/ application engineering team with customer-facing responsibilities

  • Must speak and write Albanian and English fluently

  • Experience in cybersecurity detection, response, mitigation or compliance preferred

  • Strong understanding of the technology issues facing IT stakeholders today

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills

  • Must have a proactive communication style ensuring the timely status of projects to engineering team, management and other stakeholders

  • Ability to extract hidden or unrealized customer requirements and gain consensus on these requirements with the customer

  • Ability to develop relationships (including over the phone) and communicate with high-level technical staff

  • Ability to quickly learn, understand and work with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cybersecurity technology space

  • Effective presentation skills, with the ability to produce powerful presentations, deliver technical presentations and create coherent written arguments

  • Ability to travel as required (up to 25%)

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment

  • A positive attitude, willing to jump in and tackle new challenges with creativity and collaboration

ROLE TYPE

This position will be a 40 hours per week Independent Contractor/ Private Entrepreneur Contract position for an initial period of 12 months, based in Tirana, Albania. Depending on performance, fit and future programs, this role may also have the potential to be rolled over into a multi-year engagement. Hours of work will be at the Entrepreneur’s discretion (subject to stakeholder/ program requirements).

 

REMOTE WORKING

Until such time as the company opens an office in Tirana, this position will be a hybrid working position, at times requiring work at the contractor’s own home office, and at times working from client sites.

COMPENSATION

This position will be pay market rates, depending on the experience, qualification and skills of the successful candidate.
